Cakes n Sweets Bakery started as homebased business in 2010, owned and operated by Shiela De Villa. It all began, when Shiela went on maternity leave in 2009 with her second child. With her passion in baking, she created cakes for her son every month until he turned ONE. Many of her friends saw her cake creations and loved them. Shiela created a Facebook page in 2010 and though social media and word of mouth she gained clientels, more of them were repeat business. In the beginning of October 2014 Cakes n Sweets Bakery opened its retail shop in Coquitlam B.C.
